Dynamic materials management and our own vehicle pool are essential constituent elements of our corporate concept.

Overall, 10 of our own trucks equipped with the latest safety features – both in terms of driver safety as well as with regard to the securing of the load – are in use every day. We take on the task of transporting about 80 % of our total volume in Germany ourselves. We are supported Europe-wide by transportation companies, with which we have had many years of trustful cooperation. Our drivers regularly take part in training sessions dealing with aspects regarding the handling of hazardous goods.

Our storage area encompasses some 44,000m² and the measures deployed there to protect against soil and water pollution as well as to enhance work and operational safety surpass the official requirements by far. Warehouse control is based on a random management approach and on the first-in-first-out principle. In this respect attention is paid to batch purity and ‘best-before’ dates are, of course, constantly monitored. Our ERP system ensures storage-space-exact inventory control, permanent information on order picking and availability of the products to be despatched.

This logistics concept enables us to keep the entire handling operation under our own control. The products arrive, pass through a stringent incoming goods check, are stored or made-up to orders and leave destined for customers. This eliminates any interface problems and the goods can be traced back at any time. It also means that we are able to react to individual customer requirements at short notice.
